Back up your data before the repair

We no longer offer a data preservation service. Backing up the content of your device is yours to do, and it has to happen before you hand the device over.

A repair can erase your data permanently. Even a small job, a mainboard or storage replacement, or a factory reset required by the manufacturer, takes the content with it.
Sign out of your accounts (Find My iPhone, Google account and similar) and take out the SIM and memory card. The less personal data left on the device, the better.
We open the content of your device only when diagnosing or testing the repair requires it, and only as far as it requires. We make no copies and keep nothing afterwards.
