If your Samsung Galaxy A07 4G shuts down randomly or struggles to hold a charge, a battery replacement is likely necessary. A swollen battery can also push against the back cover and create a severe safety hazard. This guide will walk you through safely opening the plastic back panel to install a fresh 5000 mAh power cell.

   Heat the back cover

   • Apply heat to the edges of the back cover using a heat gun or hair dryer.
   • Keep the tool moving to soften the adhesive without melting the plastic panel.

   Create an opening gap

   • Place a suction cup near the bottom edge and pull up gently to create a tiny gap.
   • Insert a plastic guitar pick into this gap to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

   Slice through the adhesive

   • Slide the plastic pick around the entire perimeter of the phone to cut the adhesive.
