Samsung Galaxy S26 Housing Replacement

A housing replacement is necessary when your Galaxy S26 chassis is bent, cracked, or twisted from heavy impact, which compromises internal hardware alignment and dust seals. This repair requires a complete teardown, migrating the logic board, sub-board, battery, cameras, and delicate peripherals into a fresh frame.    • Gently lift the motherboard out with the rear camera cluster intact and lay it flat on an ESD-safe mat.

   • Disconnect the antenna lines and carefully pry up the USB-C daughterboard, taking care not to flex the charging port.

   • Grasp the battery pull tab and pull it outward at a low angle to release the pack from the frame.
   • If the adhesive resists, apply a few drops of 90%+ isopropyl alcohol around the edges to soften the bond, and never pry the battery with metallic or sharp tools.

   Transfer Small Peripherals to the New Housing

   • Using fine-tip ESD tweezers, transfer the earpiece speaker, haptic vibration motor, microphone mesh covers, and volume/power button flex cables into the new chassis.
   • Verify that all thermal dissipation pads and rubber alignment grommets are positioned correctly in their recesses.

   Install Boards and Reassemble Internal Components

   • Mount the sub-board and main logic board into the new frame and secure them with their original screws.
   • Reconnect all flex ribbons, place the battery into the tray using fresh adhesive strips, and secure the upper wireless charging shield.

    Test Hardware and Reseal the Rear Glass

    • Power on the phone to test display touch response, cameras, audio, and charging functionality before final sealing.
    • Remove residual glue from the back cover, place a fresh precut perimeter adhesive gasket on the new housing, and press the back glass down firmly under light clamp pressure.
