Step by step

Step 2: Heat and Separate the Back Glass
Apply uniform heat at roughly 75°C to the outer edges of the rear panel for two to three minutes to soften the factory glue.
Attach a suction handle near the lower edge, pull upward to create a slight gap, insert a plastic pick, and slice carefully around the perimeter to release the back glass.

Step 3: Remove Upper Shield and Wireless Coil
Take out the Phillips screws holding the top protective midframe and wireless charging coil.
Carefully lift the plastic bracket and coil assembly out of the chassis to expose the motherboard underneath.

Step 4: Disconnect the Battery Terminal
Use a non-conductive plastic spudger to unseat the battery connector from the mainboard immediately.
Never use metal tools or tweezers near the battery socket to avoid accidental electrical shorts.

Unscrew the lower loudspeaker assembly and pull it from the chassis.
Disconnect the main interconnect flex ribbons, release the daughterboard retaining screws, and gently pry out the USB-C charging port board.

Apply a few drops of isopropyl alcohol around the battery seams to loosen the underlying adhesive layer, or use the integrated pull-tab if present.

Step 9: Reinstall Main Boards and Reconnect Cables
Place the motherboard and sub-board into the new chassis, securing both with their dedicated screws.
Reattach all display lines, interconnect ribbons, antenna leads, and camera connectors until they click firmly into place.

Plug the battery connector back into the motherboard, temporarily place the wireless coil bracket, and power on the phone.
Verify that touch response, cameras, charging, and speaker output work properly before finalizing the assembly.

Clean off any old adhesive residue from the perimeter of the back glass using isopropyl alcohol, apply a fresh precut adhesive gasket, and press the glass firmly into the frame to complete the repair.
